Jab We Met!

Thought it got out a decade ago, I watched it entirely very recently. I still remember the times when my class mates used to discuss the movie, its songs, Kareena’s costumes and everything in the movie. I didn't raise opinion on that movie at the time, cuz I had not watched it all. The most talked about song of that time was ‘Yeh Ishq Hai’ and its soothing feel. At that age, though I had heard a ‘Aaoge Jab Tum’, it didn't seem much sense to me. But today, with age I realized the whole intensity and depth of that song. That song is so touchy and it lyrics convey all sorts of emotions that person can have: regret, pain, guilt and many.

The lyrics, the method in which it is cinematographed and sung and everything about it fell in place so correctly that I believe it is one of those songs which rightly portrayed that entire situation of the scene. The most interesting part is that every shot can be cut down and analyzed through various perspectives which makes the song even more special for the listener. I truly feel it is masterpiece in all sorts. And a true blessing to every music lover!
